A man previously jailed for damaging a €10m Monet painting has received a two-year sentence after he was convicted of handling an oil painting stolen from a stately home.

A €10m artwork by Claude Monet that was all but destroyed when a man put his fist through it is once again hanging where it belongs after a painstaking restoration.
