Staff at Cork Institute of Technology flouted college policies on expenses, a probe into 175 allegations made by a whistleblower has found.

Cork Institute of Technology has spent almost €65,000 investigating a number of whistleblower allegations of misspending.

Any money misspent by HSE staff must be repaid to the State, Taoiseach Enda Kenny has insisted.
