The trial of a Dublin man who shot dead his neighbour in 2014 has heard he was suffering from severe depression and psychotic symptoms at the time.

A neighbour has been charged with the murder and attempted murder of a 66-year-old woman and her daughter following a gun attack at a family home in Tallaght in Dublin.

A next door neighbour of a woman shot dead in an attack in which her daughter was also injured will appear in court this morning charged with murder and attempted murder.
