Drivers at Dublin Bus are before the Labour Court today in a bid to get pay parity with Luas drivers.

Independent TD Joan Collins is encouraging industrial unrest within the public transport sector.

The acting Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe has said it would be "a disaster" if he were to get personally involved in the Luas dispute.

Latest: The managing director of Transdev, which operates the Luas, said that he is open to hearing a new pay proposal for Luas drivers as long as it is “reasonable”.

The head of the Workplace Relations Commission has said there is no point in holding talks on the Luas dispute, unless both sides are willing to negotiate.
