A young man is facing life behind bars after he was convicted of killing his unborn baby by kicking and stamping on his heavily pregnant ex-girlfriend after she refused to have an abortion.

A heavily pregnant young woman was brutally beaten in the street by her ex-boyfriend intent on killing their unborn baby boy, a British court heard today.

Two young men accused of kicking a heavily pregnant woman in south-east London causing the death of her unborn baby have appeared before the Old Bailey today.
