OLYMPIAN Kerry O’Flaherty is evidently in good shape, having competed in Rio in 2016 and this year winning the Irish National 1500m title and competing in her first European Indoor Championships in Serbia.

There was no joy for the Irish women on the third day of the IAAF World Championships in Beijing with Tori Pena, Michelle Finn, Sara Treacy and Kerry O’Flaherty missing out on qualification in their respective events.
