Rail commuters are going to find life much easier when a number of developments in the pipeline at Cork’s Kent Station are completed.

Work to reorientate Cork city’s Kent Train Station to face the city is set to begin this summer after a multi-million transport funding package was announced.

The Government has released just over €5m in emergency funding for repairs to Iarnród Éireann’s storm damaged infrastructure — including the roof at Cork’s Kent Station.
