The country’s auctioneers representative group, IPAV, has called for a €10,000 deposit subsidy scheme to help first-time buyers get on the property ladder.

Auctioneers have reiterated their call on Finance Minister Michael Noonan to rethink the sale of Nama assets, saying it is time to scrap the sale of the €7.2bn Project Arrow loans, the largest auction by the agency to date.

The Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers (IPAV) are meeting with the Law Society today to discuss the delays faced by property buyers.
