Ilie Nastase has had his ban for his conduct during Romania's Fed Cup tie against Great Britain marginally reduced on appeal but his fine doubled.

The 71-year-old was suspended following his behaviour as Romania's Fed Cup captain in a clash against Great Britain in April.

The former French and US Open champion has been banned following a series of misdemeanours.

The All England Club has stopped short of black-listing Nastase.
