Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has become the latest player to declare he’d walk off the pitch if racially abused in a match.

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum believes team-mate Sadio Mane is starting to show he is one of the best in the world.

"I think he can be a great player for us," said Jurgen Klopp.

Asked what had gone wrong, Klopp said: “Nearly everything... The start, the middle and the end.”

Wijnaldum handed under-pressure head coach Steve McClaren some welcome relief.
