An Irishwoman once described as “the most dangerous woman in America” for her fearless campaigning for workers’ rights is to be honoured in her native city this week.

MORE than 20 cows have been entered in the 27th Baileys Irish Champion Cow competition at Virginia Show in Co Cavan this Saturday.

PART of the success achieved by one of the country’s leading export companies, Baileys, has been attributed to the quality cream produced by 40,000 dairy cows on 1,500 accredited Irish farms.
