CARBON emission reduction targets are deeply flawed in relation to farming as they take no account of the ability of grassland to absorb carbon, according to IFA Climate Change spokesman Jer Bergin.

Britain is to provide at least £1.5bn (€1.65bn) towards a fund to fast track efforts to combat global warming, Gordon Brown said today.
