Delegates at the GAA's Special Congress have decided not to back proposals for new Under-19 inter-county hurling and football championships and will stick with the current set-up for the foreseeable future.

The 2007 National U-19 Championships will recommence at the National Stadium in Dublin at 5.30pm this afternoon and continue until all semi final bouts are completed.
