Geraldine Doherty today became the second Meath player in as many months to win the Irish Independent/Lucozade Sport ‘Player of the Month’ award, after Gillian Bennett picked it up in April.

Valerie Mulcahy was one of five Cork players to be bestowed with a TG4/O'Neill's Ladies Football All-Star award at the Citywest Hotel on Saturday night.
