Marymount University Hospital and Hospice is urgently seeking volunteers to support its Sunflower Days next weekend.

It started with a suit fit for a queen. It ended with a donation which has helped to almost double the number of palliative care beds at a leading hospice.

Volunteers will take to the streets of towns and cities across the country to sell sunflower seeds and pins in aid of Irish hospices.

A BLOOMING success is on the cards for the Irish Hospice Foundation, with their Sunflower Days expected to raise more than €1 million next month.
