Galway Hurdle heroine Missunited was backed as if defeat was out of the question in the Summer Twilight Nights Race at Limerick yesterday, but could only finish third of three runners.

Limerick concludes this afternoon with a fascinating little three-runner Summer Twilight Nights Race, which can fall to Michael Winters’ Missunited.

Some 14,000, mostly students, were on site at Limerick last night and they certainly created what is probably best described as an unique atmosphere!

At the weights he can’t possibly win, but El Salvador still gets the nap in the Summer Twilight Nights Race at Limerick this evening.
