HELPING to open doors — to those who aspire to better designed houses, modest extensions or even a storage solution, as well as to the homeless, that’s the aim of the forthcoming RIAI Simon Open Door Day.

IT was honours even for the four provinces last night at the RIAI’s 2006 Irish Architecture Awards when Environment Minister Dick Roche presented the four main prizes to projects in Cork, Galway, Belfast and Kildare.
