Donald McCain’s talented mare Whiteoak has been retired after suffering a minor injury.

DONALD McCain has given Whiteoak the green light to take her chance in the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham on Tuesday rather than the David Nicholson Mares Hurdle on the same card.

Aintree winner Elusive Dream found very little difficulty in adding to his haul at Cheltenham this evening.

Reigning Cheltenham Gold Cup hero War Of Attrition is on course to tackle the James Nicholson Champion Chase at Down Royal on Saturday.
