A 20-YEAR-OLD dancer from Japan was crowned Miss Universe 2007, marking only the second time her country has won the world beauty title.

FORTY minutes into her reign as Miss Universe, Miss Puerto Rico Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza collapsed during a post-pageant news conference and was rushed off-stage on Sunday night.
