Jury selection in the Michael Jackson child abuse case will be delayed for a week because of a death in the family of the pop star’s lawyer, a judge said today in Santa Maria, California.

The mother of the alleged victim in the Michael Jackson child abuse case said she did not remember a private investigator telling her that he was working for one of the pop star’s attorneys.
