Westlife walked away with the Best Irish Pop Act for the eighth year in a row at tonight’s Meteor Irish Music Awards in Dublin.

John Hughes, musician and Manager of The Corrs will be presented with the Meteor Industry Award at the 2005 Meteor Ireland Music Awards, hosted by Ed Byrne in The Point on Thursday, 24th February.
