THE fallout from the McBrearty scandal is far from over and many who have followed the events that began on that fateful day in October 1996 believe it can only get worse.

Underlining the case that criminal prosecutions must be brought against those gardaí responsible for visiting a reign of terror and persecution on the McBrearty family, is the malaise revealed in the Irish Examiner today.
