Greater use of match-day technology so as to allow teams to challenge certain decisions will see the game of hurling become “far too stop-start”, according to Limerick’s Tom Morrissey.

The cost of preparing the various Limerick hurling and football teams in 2015 ran in excess of €1m.

With three contested positions and three other officers retiring at the end of their five years’ service, yesterday’s attendance at the Limerick GAA convention in the city’s Strand Hotel was the highest for a number of years.
