Coach Eddie O’Sullivan claimed two sucker punches cost Ireland the chance of a first victory against the Wallabies on Australian soil since 1979.

Ireland will face Australia at Subiaco Oval in Perth on June 24 next year, when they will bid to win back the Lansdowne Cup following last month's 30-14 loss in Dublin.
