MICHAEL HOURIGAN travelled to Leopardstown yesterday and missed seeing his City Storm run out a decisive winner of the Comeragh Maiden Hurdle at Clonmel.

SEAMUS HEFFERNAN, set to ride as number two to Kieren Fallon at Ballydoyle this season, partnered his first winner of the jumps campaign when steering Brogella to an easy success in the Mares Novice Hurdle at Clonmel yesterday.

JURADO EXPRESS, superbly handled by Cheltenham Festival-hero, Barry Cash, landed the four-runner featured Nore Valley Chase at Clonmel last night.
