The plug was pulled last night on a major music festival due to be held in Killarney, Co Kerry, at the weekend.

Despite disappointing ticket sales, the organisers of a major music festival in Kerry next weekend have pledged all acts on the programme will be performing.

A Kerry-based music festival has cancelled plans to host a stage for up-and-coming Irish acts, having been accused of asking emerging artists to pay to appear at the event.
