Police said a blast on board a Jerusalem bus was apparently triggered by a suicide bomber who targeted the number 14 bus.

A suicide bomber blew himself today at a busy intersection next to the northern Israeli port city of Haifa, wounding 11 other people, police and rescue workers said.

Several of the wounded in the Jerusalem blast earlier today were children, it has emerged.
