Barizan could be heading to the Punchestown Festival following his fine second in the JCB Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham last month.

Heavy rain and strong winds failed to deter tens of thousands of people from attending the 75th National and the 2006 World Ploughing Championships in Tullow, Co Carlow.

More than 150,000 people are expected to attend the National Ploughing Championships in Tullow, Co Carlow during the next four days.
