Roma have joined those condemning the "abhorrent behaviour" by a group of their fans before Tuesday's Champions League semi-final in Liverpool that has left a home fan, believed to be from Ireland, in a critical condition.

Juventus and Liverpool were today marking the 27th anniversary of the Heysel Stadium disaster which claimed the lives of 39 supporters prior to the 1985 European Cup final.
