AN Antrim camogie player will defy medical advice when she lines out in Sunday’s Gala All-Ireland junior final against Waterford.

CLARE gained revenge for last year’s heartbreaking Gala All-Ireland junior final defeat to Derry with a 4-8 to 3-9 victory against the Oak Leaf County in Saturday’s Division Two decider.

Camogie President Liz Howard has thanked the GAA and its members for allowing the Gala All-Ireland junior camogie championship final to take place at Croke Park on the same bill as the All-Ireland Under-21 hurling and senior camogie deciders on Sunday, September 9.
