ALL-IRELAND finalists Kilkenny and Tipperary dominate the Opel GPA Hurling Team of the Year for 2009, winning 13 of the 15 available places between them.

The official nominees for the 2008 Opel Gaelic Players Awards for hurling have been announced today by the Gaelic Players Association (GPA), with All-Ireland champions Kilkenny receiving the most nominations.

The GPA today announced the return of the Opel Gaelic Players Awards for 2008.
