At the recent Frankfurt Car Show, Ford unveiled a new feature that lets drivers pre-set their car to go at or just above the speed limit. In-car cameras and software read and react to road signs, speeding the car up or slowing it down.

The high-performance electric car market is shaping up to be a high-profile battleground featuring some of the world’s most glamorous brands after Porsche and Audi unveiled models to challenge pioneer Tesla Motors.

The Frankfurt Car Show opens to the public from September 19-27 and will play host to a barrage of world premieres, including a real-life version of the digital Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo.
