More than a century on, a headstone will be placed on Friday on the previously unmarked grave of one of the 40 children killed during the 1916 Rising.

TOMORROW we will celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Most of us will do so with enthusiasm. 

All events between 1912 and 1916 that led to the creation of modern Ireland are being commemorated, according to the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Heather Humphreys.
