The final round of the Dunlop National Rally Championship, the West Cork Hotel Fastnet Rally in Skibbereen, was won by Cavan’s Patrick Elliott and his co-driver, Paul Goodman.

Kilkenny’s Ray Breen and his Waterford co-driver, Andrew Purcell have won the Dunlop National Rally Championship.

BASED on previous performances, Dessie Nutt is the obvious favourite in Sunday’s Killarney Historic Rally.

NOT content to rest on his laurels, Eugene Donnelly has already completed a deal that will see the 36-year-old Derry ace drive a Toyota Corolla WRC in next season’s Irish Tarmac Championship.

ANDREW NESBITT and NIALL MAGUIRE are still uncertain about their title defences in 2003. Nesbitt is the reigning Toshiba Computers Irish Tarmac champion while Maguire is the Dunlop National Rally Champion.
