Cape Blanco bounced right back to his best to give Aidan O’Brien a fifth consecutive Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh – and could now clash with old foe Workforce at Ascot next month.

RACING at the Curragh yesterday began with a dramatic incident in the Dubai Duty Free Full Of Surprises EBF Maiden, when Johnny Murtagh took a crashing fall from the favourite, Petronius Maximus.
