FLOODING killed four people and forced the evacuation of 94,000 others in the northern Chinese port city of Dandong after heavy rains caused the Yalu river to breach its banks, state media said yesterday.

The Yalu River that marks China’s border with North Korea breached a dyke today after torrential rain, inundating parts of the Chinese city of Dandong and forcing the evacuation of more than 50,000 people.
