An elite sailor who gave up competitive sailing after the 2008 Paralympics to concentrate on family life has dusted down his old vessel to compete again.

Fine weather played havoc with the opening races of the Cork County Council IFDS World Championships at Kinsale yesterday, where racing was postponed due to lack of wind.
