WEST Cork’s Ian Stanley (Honda Civic) inched his way closer to the Jerry Murphy Tyres Munster Autocross Championship title as he moved four points ahead of arch rival Mark Dolphin (Mini) in yesterday’s penultimate round of the series in Clonakilty.

For the fifth time in succession, Dessie Nutt (Porsche 911) has won the Killarney Historic Rally.

Swapping roles from that of co-driver, Brian Murphy won the Carlow Motor Club Rallysprint at Mondello Park that attracted an entry of 150 drivers.
