Cian O’Connor declared on Facebook this week that he think’s “Ireland will win” today’s Furusiyya nations cup in St Gallen, Switzerland.

Ireland eventing manager Nick Turner was not dissatisfied to see his team finish runner-up to the British again in the nations cup at Ballindenisk International Horse Trials yesterday, suggesting it was a realistic result.

Ireland failed to make it past the first round in yesterday’s second-division Belgian Nations Cup at Lummen.
