Monaghan drivers dominate the weekend’s rallying landscape with the Moffett brothers Sam (25) and Josh (22) competing in tomorrow’s Plains Rally in Wales while Stephen Wright contests the Sezoens Rally in Belgium.

SONIA O’SULLIVAN will be the star attraction in Loughrea tomorrow when the Great Ireland Run - a five mile road race - will be sponsored by Bord Fáilte’s International Sports Tourism Initiative and will attract 1,000 runners, joggers and fun runners from Ireland and overseas.

Roy White and Michael Patterson, in the FESP sponsored and Michelin shod Mitsubishi Evo 6, netted a superb third overall and won the Group N category in the Bianchi Rally in Belgium.
