HURLING is in danger of becoming a game of “tiddlywinks” if referees continue to hand out yellow and red cards with the same abandon seen so far this summer, according to Joe Canning.

GAA president Christy Cooney has continued to show his commitment to bringing the club to the fore, with the first ever All-Ireland Hurling Championship launch in a GAA Club being hosted today by Ballyboden St Enda's in Dublin.

The GAA today broke new ground by launching the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship at a club venue for the first time, with players from all four provinces on hand to launch the 2010 campaign at Kerins O'Rahillys' clubhouse in Tralee.
