The threat of a breakaway series again looms over Formula One after the latest breakdown in communication between FOTA and the FIA.

THE future of Formula One is again “in jeopardy” after the eight members of FOTA walked out of a meeting with the FIA yesterday, just two weeks after peace appeared to have broken out.

The FIA have confirmed they are to issue legal proceedings against the Formula One Teams’ Association following their threat to begin a breakaway series.
