TWO Rwandan businessmen accused of key roles in the killings of thousands of people during their country’s 1994 massacre appeared in court yesterday in the second Rwanda genocide trial held in Belgium.

Rebels began patrolling the streets of the Haitian capital as rebel leader Guy Philippe declared himself the new chief of the military and threatened to arrest the country’s prime minister.
