There were explosive scenes in the Dáil today after a row broke out between two Kerry TD's over the new rural transport initiative - 'drink link.'

There has been a broad welcome to government plans to expand rural bus services, including night-time buses, although Michael Healy-Rae TD has pointed out that the scheme was “not adequate”.

A new state-funded 'drink link' bus will service 50 rural communities across Ireland.
