Dublin and Armagh have accepted the actions of their players in a challenge match in July merited punishment.

Just three days out from the All-Ireland semi-final against Mayo, Dublin will this evening contest the proposed €10,000 fine handed down to them arising from a melee in their challenge game in Glasnevin last month.

Bernard Brogan insists Dublin have parked the controversial ‘Davey Byrne Affair’ which saw the panellist suffer a broken nose before a recent challenge match against Armagh at DCU.

Armagh legend Joe Kernan has called on disciplinary chiefs to be balanced and to look at the “whole video” of the controversial challenge match between Armagh and Dublin.
