Chris Gayle is facing fresh allegations of sexism after making a series of controversial remarks to a female journalist.

Cricketer Chris Gayle is taking legal action against an Australian media organisation which reported allegations of a dressing room incident involving a woman last year in Sydney.

Chris Gayle has apologised to journalist Mel McLaughlin after asking her out for a drink during a live television interview, but said his comments have been blown “out of proportion”.
