A military judge has found that Bowe Bergdahl should serve no prison time for endangering his comrades by walking off his post in Afghanistan.

US army sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, who walked away from his post in Afghanistan and became a prisoner of the Taliban for five years, will face court-martial on charges of desertion and endangering US troops, army officials said yesterday.

The Taliban released a video showing Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl being handed over to US forces and bundled into a helicopter in eastern Afghanistan.
