A DEAL worth up to €14m is to be signed in coming days on the remaining investment — including the Boardwalk bar and restaurant — at Cork city’s seminal City Quarter. 

Restoration work has commenced on a robust 400m eco-boardwalk in Youghal, Co Cork, to replace the structure demolished in ferocious winter storms early last year.

Youghal Town Council is to get €280,000 to restore the storm-damaged boardwalk.
