A man and woman are due in court in Co Cavan in connection with two aggravated burglaries.

A Polish man has appeared in court charged with the New Year’s murder of another Polish man in Co Cavan.

A man will appear at Cavan District Court today over a murder in the early hours of New Year's Day.
