Aidan O’Brien has three runners as he bids to maintain his stranglehold on the Centennial Celebration-MBNA Chester Vase Stakes on the Roodee today.

So, the rumours that were rife for weeks, regarding Aidan O’Brien’s future at Ballydoyle, finally found their way into the media over the last seven days or so.

Buratino is set to take on the might of Ballydoyle after being confirmed for the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.

The flat season gets under way tomorrow and there will be plenty focus on the public gallops that many of the Ballydoyle hopefuls will be doing after racing at the Curragh.
